I joined the Post Falls Chamber over 12 years ago as a small business owner. I joined for one reason, to promote my product, my fast and friendly service and to build relationships with potential customers. I had no idea what the chamber really did. When I wrote out the check each year for $300, I expected the chamber to send me customers. I think many businesses join the chamber with those same expectations. It took me a few years to realize that the chamber never promised to send me customers but rather provide me with connections to local resources, programs, and events that keep me connected to my current customers and potential customers. The chamber is also committed to keeping its members informed and up to date on new opportunities for business growth. The more I got involved the more passionate I became about educating new business owners about exactly what the chamber is all about, why it exists, what we do, and why YOU should be a part of it. Think of your annual “dues” as an insurance premium. If you never use it…., that doesn’t mean that your dollars aren’t hard at work in our community.

For a small investment of $225 a year, you are helping fund projects and committee work like The Workforce Taskforce, Business Education Development, Economic Development, Transportation and governmental issues at the local and state levels. With almost 500 members, we are accomplishing great things. When you DO USE IT (your premium) the benefits far outweigh the cost. We have several levels of membership that offer benefit packages that best suit you and your business goals. The chamber partners with local agencies and colleges to provide business related educational opportunities. We provide monthly networking opportunities, access to training seminars, guest speakers and low cost advertising in many publications throughout the year. Your investment of just $20 a month allows us to maintain a professional staff that serves as an information center to visitors as well as our members.

The Post Falls Chamber answers more than 50 calls a day, we assist over 2000 visitors during the summer months and send out more than 500 relocation packets a year. We support events such as the Post Falls Business Fair, the Spring Food Drive, Jr. Miss Program, Post Falls Days Parade, the community picnic, the Kootenai County Job Fair and much more.
